Setting Up Your Phone
Note : This section pertains to customers who purchased only a SIM card and wish to install it in their own phone model. If you have purchased a eMobileRoaming phone, your phone is already set up and you can skip to the “Placing Calls” section below.
Important your phone must be unlocked and be able to access the GSM frequencies in the countries you’re visiting. Check our website or call our Help Line for more information.
- Install the SIM card as per your phone’s instructions.
- Turn on your phone.
- In less than 2 minutes, it will automatically register with the local GSM network and activate your service. That’s all! This happens each time you turn on the phone.
Using your phone
Turn on your phone and you will see a Profile selection menu (Global, USA and Prime).
Always select the “Global” Profile, even when in the USA.
Exception for Italy:
If you are in Italy choose the “Prime” Profile and you must use the TIM network.
Troubleshooting : If your phone does not connect to a network after two minutes, try re-installing the SIM card and restarting the phone. If it still doesn’t work (or reception is poor), you will need to manually select a local network. Consult your phone’s instruction booklet.
